An eight-story, mixed-use development is planned for 1024 Mateo Street, between Bay Street and Sacramento Street, in the burgeoning area of the Arts District in Los Angeles.
The project would include 106 live/work condominiums – including nine to be set aside as affordable housing at the very low-income level – and approximately 120,000 square feet of commercial space. This would include roughly 13,000 square feet of restaurant space and 14,000 square feet of retail space.
Amenities are set to include a swimming pool, lounge, fitness center and co-working spaces. Parking for 402 automobiles would be provided on three levels – with residential parking located below-grade, commercial parking at grade, and office parking on the second floor.
