A luxury Art Deco-inspired skyscraper is planned for Miracle Mile in Los Angeles. The 42-story tower, planned at 5411 Wilshire Boulevard, will be near the coming La Brea Avenue subway station and would replace a Staples office supply store.
With an estimated $400M price tag, the project will include 371 luxury apartments, including 56 affordable units. It boasts numerous amenities, including an outdoor deck on the fifth floor big enough for a park with trees, flowers and a perimeter walking trail overlooking the city.
In addition to a gym, the building will have a two-lane bowling alley, a virtual reality gaming room, a golf simulator, dog-grooming space, demonstration kitchen, wine-tasting counter, billiard room and yoga studio. On the 42nd story will be a private rooftop garden and lounge.
The project is set to open in 2023.
